It seems like we've all taken a little break from drinking/reviewing.

- Wines should be <$15 per bottle
- Pricier "special occassion" wines are okay too
- Each month we'll have a theme (region, type, color)
- If you don't care for a particular assignment, modify a part of it
- Don't only post about assigned wines.... if you have a glass at a friend's house, or at a restaurant -- write about it!
- If you aren't a member, and don't want to be a member -- that's fine -- post your thoughts in a comment or email me at thewhinery at gmail dot com and you can be a "special guest" reviewer

well, i've not got an old standby wine as i'm fairly new to drinking wine....i'm trying to think of how to fulfill this assignment...help!
Assignments are loosy goosy around here -- drink something you received as a gift..... or that someone offers you over the holidays.... or something that looks interesting.
Bottom line -- drink, drink and be merry!

Hello? I was hoping someone had weeded out a decent Beaujolais nouveau.
It's been some time since I've drank, unless you want to count the wine cooler I had about a month ago. :) It's nice to find someone who knows a thing or two about wine! I'll be stopping in again.
